It is expected that:
1. All Summer Missionary staff will maintain healthy relationships with family, friends, colleagues, and constituents. We are committed to speaking the truth in love, and resolving conflicts quickly and biblically. We are also committed to respecting the variations that exist between Christian traditions while carrying out our ministry.
2. Biblical standards of personal, moral purity will be maintained. Each, being responsible for the expression of his or her own sexuality, will, therefore, maintain faithfulness in marriage, dress with appropriate modesty and in keeping with Scriptural principles avoid common-law, pre-marital, extra-marital, homosexual, and lesbian relations. Further, acts of personal physical aggression, addictive and abusive behaviour, and sexual harassment are deemed to be out of keeping with a Christian lifestyle. Therefore, any such violations, especially those involving minors, will be reported to the authorities, investigated and if proven will be grounds for dismissal.
3. All Summer Missionary staff must abstain from all criminal activities, including, but not limited to, the promotion and use of pornographic materials, acts of theft, fraud, and the use of all illegal drugs. We expect abstinence from alcoholic beverages, vaping, and smoking while employed by CEF.
When warranted, by deviation from the above, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken. Such could include termination of employment, when efforts to correct and restore (in keeping with biblical principles) have been exhausted or resisted or have failed.
I hereby agree to:
- attend a Bible-believing church each Sunday throughout the summer.
- dress according to the Dress Code Policy.
- adhere to the Electronics & Media Policy.
- adhere to the Summer Missionary curfew throughout the summer.
